Grande Roche is located at Cape Town in South Africa. The site where the hotel is right now is the site of the old De Nieuwe Plantatie in the Drakenstein valley of Paarl, South Africa. The place was granted to Hermanus Bosman in 1717 through a heritage.
In 1991, it was finally restored to the original Cape Dutch and was transformed into a five star hotel. The restoration was acknowledged when Grande Noche estate was declared as a national monument in 1993.

Today Grande Roche is a celebrated international hotel, famous for its exquisite location in the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands as well as for its luxurious, cosmopolitan accommodation, award-winning cuisine and matchless service and hospitality.
